Out from Bangkok, there is a floating market that becomes one of the Thailand’s most famous attractions, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, 100 km west from Bangkok in Ratchaburi Province. In the past, daily commerce in Thailand was conducted mostly along rivers and canals. Every morning, boat venders will cramp in Damnoen Saduak Canal to sell product from their plantations that varies from fruits to vegetables. Now the product is more varieties as there are many visitors visit here every day.

Activities at Klong Khone Mangrove Forest such as take a boat ride to see macaques living in nature, see a mussel farm, row a boat on a lane, watch the scallop picking, lane boarding, see the way of life of the villagers, join a mangrove plantation. ski lanes and eat traditional seafood on a basket in the middle of the sea.

During low tide, villagers gather to collect cockles in the mud. There will be a wooden board to slip on the muddy soil to collect cockles. Some people can collect tens of kilograms a day. It is a good income for the villagers.
